Artist statement
In my practice, I explore the concept of space—architectural, natural, and illusory—investigating boundaries between the public and the intimate, the permanent and the transient. I am curious about how we perceive and internalize home, and how memory, time, and environment continuously reshape that perception.
I construct layered visual spaces using drawing, experimental graphic techniques, and light projections on transparent plexiglass. Images of nature intertwine with partially concealed architectural and urban structures, resulting in seemingly floating compositions that evoke fragility and impermanence.
The works are layered, multidimensional so they function as spatial memory maps—simultaneously deep and disorienting.
Through the interplay of lines, surfaces, shadows, and light, I aim to reflect the transient nature of architectural spaces, already being overtaken by the equally ever-changing force of nature. My work becomes a quiet meditation on fragility, memory, and the elusive feeling of belonging.
